Golden Mile

Promenade packed with attractions, the famous amusement arcades, adventure golf, pubs, restaurants, ice cream stands, horse drawn carts, shops and great views over the beautiful sandy beach.

Great Yarmouth Beach 

15 miles of beautiful soft sandy beach, donkey rides in season, deck chairs, cafes, and all the attractions you could want!

JoyLand Children's Fun Park

The world famous snail ride, Tyrolean Tubs, Spook Express kids rollercoaster, jet cars, pirate ship, Neptune’s Kingdom and lots more, plus the American Diner.

Venetian Waterways

a 7 acre park comprising of the Venetian Waterways, Ornamental Gardens and Boating Lake, beautifully landscaped and with a cafe, restored in 2016 at a cost of £1.77m from the National Lottery and Heritage Lottery Fund. Hosts events too.

Merrivale Model Village and Penny Arcade

Opened in 1961 and painstakingly restored by the current owners, its a stunning award winning attraction, and also has a Penny Arcade with vintage slot machines to try out with old Penny tokens

Pleasure Beach

with its unique traditional 1932 wooden roller coaster and many other fantastic rides, including the Log Flume, Lightning 360, Freefall, Galloper traditional horses, dodgems, teacups and lots more for all ages

Hippodrome Circus

The only one of its kind in the UK, a purpose built 1903 historic circus building, with many amazing shows, a floor that lowers to create a giant pool for water acts, and lots more shows all year round.

Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf

Time and Tide Museum

tells the story of Great Yarmouth from its Ice Age origins to the present day. Experience a 1950’s fish wharf, take the wheel of a steam drifter, and hear tales of wreck and rescue, meet some f the colourful characters who made their living from the sea.

Great Yarmouth Row Houses & Greyfriars Cloisters

National Trust Elizabethan House Museum

Sealife Centre

Discover marine life of all kinds penguins, sea turtles, sharks and jellyfish and rock pools, great for all ages.

Tolhouse Gaol

The Tolhouse Gaol is one of the UK’s oldest gaols, dating from the 12th century, now a museum where you can discover the fate of the thieves, smugglers, witches, pirates and murderers who were confined there.

North Dene Dunes

All year round dog friendly beach, beautiful views, and lots of space to explore with huge stretches of dunes and a vast expanse of sandy beach, with the largest breeding colony of little terns in Britain, a Nature Conservation Review Site and a Special protection area.

Wellington Pier

Amusement arcade, six lane bowlingo for all ages, casino style slot machines, cafe, bar, ice cream parlour and gift shop

Great Yarmouth Minster

The third largest parish church in the UK, a Norman era church founded in 1101 by the first bishop of Norwich, beautiful to explore.

Docwra’s Rock Shop

A traditional rock shop with a history in the town for over a century, come and see the rock being made the traditional way, and see the huge and fabulous selection of traditional seaside treats to buy!

A national park with over 125 miles of waterways to explore, hire a day boat, explore pretty towns and villages and visit a riverside pub or cafe, the Venice of the East of England!
